Open Classic Shutdown Dialog in Windows 8

Open Classic Shutdown Dialog in Windows 8
Windows 8 has done away with the Start Menu along with all its features including the ability to shutdown, power off, restart or log off from the Start Menu. The classic shutdown screen available in Windows XP, Vista and 7 has been replaced with the power off options in the Charms bar. But this is difficult to use compared to the Start Menu shutdown options. If you want the older classic shutdown dialog back in Windows 8, then you can use our free tool Classic Shutdown.

Classic Shutdown is a freeware tool designed by TrishTech.com. It allows you to display the classic shutdown dialog in Windows 8. It is a portable application, so you can just download it, extract the contents of ZIP archive to a folder and double-click on ClassicShutdown.exe. It would immediately show the classic shutdown dialog.
If you want, then you can extract the ClassicShutdown.exe file on your desktop for easy access, so that whenever you want to shutdown Windows, you can just double-click on this file. Alternatively, you can also create a shortcut to ClassicShutdown.exe on your desktop. If you want, then you can also pin it to your taskbar. Just right-click on ClassicShutdown.exe and select Pin to taskbar.
Classic Shutdown is very simple to use and comes without any options as there are none required. If you have to remove it from your system, then just delete all the related shortcuts, unpin it from the taskbar, delete the ClassicShutdown.exe file and the downloaded ZIP file.
System language.
